Hot Springs, Ark. (Thursday, June 6, 2019) – Country Music legend Lee Greenwood will headline the 28th annual Spa Blast in Oaklawn’s Infield Wednesday, July 3. Gates will open at 5 p.m. and Greenwood will take the stage at 8 p.m. Following his performance will be one of the region’s largest fireworks displays (approx 9:30 p.m.).

The award-winning Greenwood has had seven #1 songs and 25 chart-topping singles including “It Turns Me Inside Out,” “Ring On Her Finger Time on Her Hands,” “She’s Lyin,” “I don’t Mind the Thorns if You’re the Rose,” “Dixie Road,” “Somebody’s Gonna Love You,” “Going Going Gone,” “You Got A Good Love Comin,” “Fools Gold” and “Mornin Ride.” However, the 1983 Male Vocalist of the Year for the Academy of Country Music is probably best-known for “God Bless the USA,” which has been voted the most recognizable patriotic song in America. The song went far beyond what Greenwood expected when he wrote it in the back of his tour bus in 1983. It has been in the top five on the country singles charts three times (1991, 2001 and 2003), giving it the distinction of being the only song in any genre of music to achieve that feat. It was also #1 on the pop charts in 2001 after 9/11.

Sharing the stage with Greenwood will be Natalie Stovall and the Drive, who will perform at 6 p.m. Stovall, who has been named to CMT’s Next Women of Country, and her band are relentless road warriors, performing over 200 dates each year across college campuses, clubs, festivals and military bases around the world. The Tennessee native is a powerhouse vocalist and multi-instrumentalist, who has been playing professionally since she was 10. A fiddle phenom, Stovall made her Grand Ole Opry debut at age 12 and has performed everywhere from the White House to The Oprah Winfrey Show.

In addition to the live music, this free, family-friendly event will feature food, drinks, a petting zoo, gigantic Kids Zone with a rock wall and misting tent. Lawn chairs and blankets are welcome, but no coolers or drones will be allowed.
