  • Kenny McPeek won five races at the 2018 Oaklawn meeting, including two with Eskimo Kisses, a future Gr. 1 winner. Eskimo Kisses broke her maiden and won an allowance race before capturing the prestigious Alabama Stakes (G1at Saratoga.
  • Saddled Kathballu to win Oaklawn’s $125,000 Spring Fever Stakes in 2017. Other meet winners included Senior Investment, who captured an allowance/optional claimer before winning the Lexington Stakes (G3) and finishing third in the Preakness Stakes (G1).
  • His biggest success in 2016 came with Daddys Lil Darling, who won the Gr. 2 Pocahontas Stakes at Churchill Downs and finished fourth in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies (G1). Other graded stakes winners were Rated R Superstar and Wonderment.
  • In 2013, he won the G1 Blue Grass Stakes at Keeneland with Java’s War and on the same day, Frac Daddy finished second in the Arkansas Derby (G1).
  • McPeek’s first “big” horse was multiple stakes winner and 1995 Kentucky Derby runner- up Tejano Run.
  • After graduating from college with a B.A. in Business, he went to New York to interview for a position as a stockbroker, but he instead took a job as a hotwalker for trainer Shug McGaughey. Took out his trainer’s license in 1985.
  • Developed the popular mobile app “Horse Races Now,” which launched in 2012.
