$40,000 Lucky Loot Slot Tournaments

• Eligibility

  Guests must be an Oaklawn Rewards Member. Membership is free to anyone 21 or older with valid identification.

• Tournament Entries
  • Guests receive 1 free entry each Wednesday in March.
  • Guests earn additional entries by playing on their Oaklawn Rewards card.
  • Beginning 6am the day of slot tournament, guests will receive 1 entry for every 75 points earned.
  • Points will not rollover from one Wednesday to the next Wednesday.
  • Maximum of 2 earned entries for each guest every Wednesday.
  • Point earning begins at 6am and ends at 6:40pm every Wednesday.
• Tournament Registration
  • Guest must get a validation ticket from Player Services from 12p-6:50p once their earned points have been validated.
  • Participant must bring the validation ticket to the registration area for a session time.
  • Registration is Wednesdays, 1pm – 6:50pm (or until the tournament is full) at the tournament area in front of Pop’s Lounge.
  • Oaklawn Rewards card and valid ID are required to register.
  • Eligible guests will be issued a registration ticket with a session time.
  • Session positions are limited and are first come first served.
• Tournament Play
  • Wednesdays, 3pm – 7pm
  • Session play is for 2 minutes. This is a session style tournament.
  • No rounds will be conducted after 7pm with exception of machine malfunction replays.
  • Registrants must arrive prior to the time listed on their registration ticket at the tournament area located in front of Pop’s Lounge.
  • A guest may play a max of 3 sessions per Wednesday (1 free and 2 earned).
  • If registrant shows up after tournament starts, they will have to wait until the next available session. If all sessions are full, the guest forfeits their round.
  • The tournament team will announce instructions and ensure all are ready to play. Once the countdown is done, the guest can begin tournament play.
• Scoring
  • After each session, the registrant’s score will be tallied.
  • The scores will be displayed on a tally board above the machines after each session.
  • Only the top score per guest will be kept for all sessions played. (i.e. If the registrant plays 3 times, we will keep the top score of the 3 sessions per day).
  • The top 10 highest scores every Wednesday and each session winner will win free play prizes. A guest can win 2 session winner prizes but only their top score will be used for top 10 scoring.
  • In the event of a tie score, the prizes will be added together and split equally amongst the winners. (i.e. If there is a tie for 2^nd place, the 2^nd and 3^rd place prizes will be combined and split equally amongst the two guests. The next highest score will receive the 4^th place prize.)
• Awarding Prizes

  Session Prizes

  • After each session the top score from that session will win $50 in free play.
  • Session winner prizes will be awarded at the conclusion of each session.

  Weekly Grand Prizes

  • Each Wednesday, after all scores have been properly tabulated, the promotions team will begin to announce the Top 10 tournament winners. Beginning with 10^th place and advancing to 1^st place, winners will be called in increments of 5 at a time.
  • Winners will have 5 minutes to claim their prize.
  • If a winner does not show, that prize amount will be added to the 1^st place prize.
  • If the 1^st place winner does not show within the allotted time, the 1^st place prize will be split amongst the Top 5 present winners.
  • All winners will be paid in free play.
  • Each Top 10 winner will receive a prize sheet with information to return to the Grand Finale on March 29^th.
  • Guests must be present to win.
• March 29 GRAND FINALE

  Grand Finale will be held at the conclusion of the last session on Wednesday, March 29, 2023.

  TOURNAMENT CHECK-IN

  • All Top 10 winners from 3/1, 3/8, 3/15, 3/22 & 3/29 will come back to compete against each other for a Grand Finale and a share of $10,000 in free play.
  • Oaklawn Rewards card and valid ID are required to check-in.
  • Guests will play an assigned session time based on the day they achieved Top 10.

  TOURNAMENT PLAY

  • Wednesday, March 29 at approx. 7:20pm or the conclusion of winner’s announcements for 3/29.
  • Session play is for one 2-minute round.
  • Registrants must arrive prior to the time listed on their registration ticket at the tournament area located in front of Pop’s Lounge.
  • If registrant shows up after tournament starts, they forfeit their round.
  • The tournament team will announce instructions and ensure all are ready to play. Once the countdown is done, the guest can begin tournament play.
  • If a Top 10 participant does not show, they will not be replaced.

  SCORING

  • After the session, the registrant’s score will be tallied.
  • The scores will be displayed on a tally board above the machines after each session.
  • The top 5 highest scores will share $10,000 in free play prizes.
  • In the event of a tie score, the prizes will be added together and split equally amongst the winners. (i.e. If there is a tie for 2^nd place, the 2^nd and 3^rd place prizes will be combined and split equally amongst the two guests. The next highest score will receive the 4^th place prize.)
