$150,000 SLOT TOURNAMENT

• Eligibility

  Guests must be an Oaklawn Rewards Member. Membership is free to anyone 21 or older with valid identification.

• How to qualify
  • Note: Earning period has been extended to 10pm each Saturday.
  • Guests earn entries by playing on their Oaklawn Rewards card.
  • Guests must earn 250 points between 6am Friday, June 2 – 10pm Saturday, June 3 to receive one entry for the June 3, 2023 Qualifying Tournament.
  • Guests must earn 250 points between 6am Friday, June 9 – 10pm Saturday, June 10 to receive one entry for the June 10, 2023 Qualifying Tournament.
  • Guests must earn 250 points between 6am Friday, June 16 – 10pm Saturday, June 17 to receive one entry for the June 17, 2023 Qualifying Tournament.
  • Guests must earn 250 points between 6am Friday, June 23 – 10pm Saturday, June 24 to receive one entry for the June 24, 2023 Qualifying Tournament.
  • Maximum of 2 earned entries for each guest every Saturday.
  • Guests may only qualify for one spot in the Grand Finale Tournament.
  • If a guest qualified for the Grand Finale tournament and placed in the top 10 in any other week they will receive the payout but will not get an additional entry into the Grand Finale Tournament Qualifying ament. We will then go to the next place winner to advance to the Grand Finale Tournament on Saturday, July 1, 2023.
• Weekly Registration
  • Guest must get a validation ticket from Player Services once their earned points have been validated.
  • Participant must bring the validation ticket to the registration area for a session time.
  • Registration is Saturdays, 5pm – 10:50pm or until the tournament is full, at the tournament area in front of Pop’s Lounge.
  • Oaklawn Rewards card and valid ID are required to register.
  • Eligible guests will be issued a registration ticket with a session time.
  • Session positions are limited and are first come first served.
• Weekly Tournament Play
  • Saturdays, 7pm – 11 pm (last round to start at 10:50 pm)
  • Session play is for 2 minutes. This is a session style tournament.
  • No rounds will be conducted after 11 pm with exception of machine malfunction replays.
  • Registrants must arrive prior to the time listed on their registration ticket at the tournament area located in front of Pop’s Lounge.
  • A guest may play a max of 2 sessions per Saturday.
  • If registrant shows up after tournament starts, they will have to wait until the next available session. If all sessions are full, the guest forfeits their round. It is the guest’s responsibility to be in the tournament area 5 minutes before their session begins.
  • The tournament team will announce instructions and ensure all are ready to play. Once the countdown is done, the guest can begin tournament play.
• Weekly Scoring
  • After each session, the registrant’s score will be tallied.
  • The scores will be displayed on a tally board above the machines after each session.
  • Only the top score per guest will be kept for all sessions played. (i.e. If the registrant plays 2 times, we will keep the highest score of the day).
  • The top 10 highest scores every Saturday and each session winner will win free play prizes. A guest can win 2 session winner prizes but only their top score will be used for top 10 scoring.
  • In the event of a tie score, the prizes will be added together and split equally amongst the winners. (i.e. If there is a tie for 2^nd place, the 2^nd and 3^rd place prizes will be combined and split equally amongst the two guests. The next highest score will receive the 4^th place prize.)
• Weekly Awarding of Prizes

  Session Prizes

  • After each session the top score from that session will win $100 in free play.
  • Session winner prizes will be awarded at the conclusion of each session.

  Weekly Grand Prizes

  • Guests must be present to win.
  • Each Saturday, after all scores have been properly tabulated, (approx. 11:15pm) the promotions team will begin to announce the Top 10 tournament winners. Beginning with 10^th place and advancing to 1^st place, winners will be called in increments of 5 at a time.
  • Winners will have 5 minutes to claim their prize.
  • If a winner does not show, that prize amount will be added to the 1^st place prize.
  • If the 1^st place winner does not show within the allotted time, the 1^st place prize will be split amongst the Top 10 present winners.
  • All winners will be paid in free play.
  • Each Top 10 winner will receive a prize sheet with information to return to the Grand Finale on July 1, 2023.
  • If a guest qualified for the Grand Finale tournament and placed in the top 10 in any other week they will receive the payout but will not get an additional entry into the Grand Finale Tournament Qualifying event. We will then go to the next place winner to advance to the Grand Finale Tournament on Saturday, July 1, 2023.
• Weekly Wild Card Drawings
  • At the conclusion of each weekly winner payout, we will draw 10 registration entry forms from the physical drawing drum.
  • These 10 guests will automatically get a spot in the Grand Finale Tournament on Saturday, July, 1, 2023.
  • We will draw a total of 40 Wild Card participants by Saturday, June, 24, 2023. Ten from each Saturday, June 3, 9, 16, & 24.
• Free Spin Event Invited Guest
  • All finale participants from the Free Spin events from February 2023 – June 2023 receive an automatic spot into the Grand Finale.
  • If an invited guest wins a Grand Finale spot in the weekly tournaments, we will pay them the prize for their place but will award a Grand Finale spot to the next winner beginning with 11^th place.

  GRAND FINALE TOURNAMENT CHECK-IN

  • All tournament participants from previous Saturdays, Wild Cards and invited guests must report to Pop’s Lounge from 5pm-7pm to check-in.
  • All tournament participants must report to the tournament area 5 minutes prior to their session time to participate.
  • Oaklawn Rewards card and valid ID are required to check-in.
  • Guests will play an assigned session time based on the day they achieved Top 10.

  TOURNAMENT PLAY

  • Grand Finale sessions will begin promptly at 7pm.
  • Session play is for one 2-minute round.
  • Participants must arrive prior to the time listed on their registration ticket at the tournament area located in front of Pop’s Lounge.
  • If participant shows up after tournament starts, they forfeit their round.
  • The tournament team will announce instructions and ensure all are ready to play. Once the countdown is done, the guest can begin tournament play.
  • At 9:50pm, any make-up rounds will be conducted at this time.
  • If a participant does not show, they will not be replaced.

  BONUS QUALIFIERS DRAWINGS

  • On Saturday, July 1, we will call additional bonus qualifiers to participate.
  • 10 qualifiers will be called from the electronic drum at 9:40pm to play in the 9:50pm session, 9:50pm for the 10pm session and 10pm for the 10:10pm session.
  • Qualifiers will have 5 minutes to report to the tournament area.
  • Bonus qualifiers must earn 500 points on Saturday, July 1 from noon – 9:30pm to qualify.
  • We will call replacement names one time if we have no-shows. Replacement qualifiers will have 2 minutes to report to the tournament area.

  SCORING

  • After the session, the participant’s score will be tallied.

  • All winners 1^st – 5^th will be paid in cash.
  • All winners 6^th – 20^th will be paid in free play.
