Title: Game Room Security
Status: Part Time - Shifts vary
Description Summary: Provide a variety of security and guest relations oriented services in our Gaming Room facilities.
Primary Duties:
- Greet and check identification of incoming patrons
- Monitor activity in the gaming areas
- Escort cashiers and money drops, credits and fills for Black Jack tables
- Offer escorts and assist guests with general questions and needs
- Act as an ambassador for OJC, providing the highest standard in guest service as well as guest and team member safety

- Ability to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive work environment
- Professional, well groomed appearance
- Ability to resolve problems/conflict in a diplomatic and tactful manner
- Ability to work a variety of shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Ability to work in a smoking environment
- Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English
- Ability to obtain and maintain ARC and EGS licensing
- Working knowledge of a variety of communication devices
- Ability to walk on varying surfaces for extended periods, run when the situation requires
- Must be able to ascend and descend stairs repeatedly
Education Requirements: High School Graduate or GED
Great to have, but not a requirement: Prior experience in security, surveillance, law enforcement or military
