HOW TO ENTER
Participants can pick up entries at the Winners Circle Desk between 3 p.m.
and 9:30 p.m. on Thursdays and must drop entries in the raffle drum located
in the promotional area, at the top of the escalators. Deadline for all entries
to be in the drum is 9:30 p.m.
HOW TO EARN ENTRIES
Players earn points the Thursday through Wednesday prior to each Thursday
promo night (Ex: Thursday, Feb. 2 - Wednesday, Feb. 8 for the promotion on
Feb. 9). The first entry is received by earning 10 points. Additional entries
are earned for every 50 points. There is a maximum of 30 entries.
WINNER SELECTION
Every 15 minutes from 6-10 p.m., Oaklawn will call three names from the raffle
drum and those players will each choose one of three boxes. The player with the
winning box will be allowed to spin the wheel in the promotions area. This wheel
will contain random amounts revealing a cash prize. We will start out with 16
players spinning the wheel. At 10 p.m. the final drawing will be for $1,000.
Once a name is called a player will have three (3) minutes to reach the promotions
area. If they do not arrive in the allotted time, a name will be called until a
winner is found. This includes the final prize drawing.
Prize Distribution
49 Total Drawings Every Thursday for 16 Cash Prizes and a $1,000 final grand
prize. 4 - $100, 3 - $125, 1 - $150, 1 - $175, 1 - $200, 1 - $225, 2 - $250,
1 - $275, 1 - $300 and 1 - $400. A total of $3,000 on the wheel, $1,000 final
grand prize, totalling $4,000.
MISCELLANEOUS
Winners understand and agree that they are responsible for any and all taxes incurred
on prizes received. In the event that a winner chooses not to accept a prize, he or she
forfeits all claim to that prize. Oaklawn then has the right, at its discretion, to award that
prize to another entrant. No prize substitution by the winner is permitted. No purchase
necessary. By participation, entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules. Entries
not in compliance with these Official Rules shall be null and void. Oaklawn Racing and
Gaming may request and/or require winners to complete and return a Liability Release
and a Publicity Release as a condition of accepting any prize package. By participating
in this promotion, participants are giving consent for their image to be recorded for use in
any and all media, whether now known or hereafter devised. Oaklawn personnel, whose
decisions are final, administer contest and prize drawings.
