Last year, Charles Cella’s Cyber Secret was the hot horse after a 5 1/4-length victory in an allowance, which led to starts in both the Southwest (G3) and Rebel (G2) stakes where he was fifth both times. Flash Forward to 2013 and he is once again the “now” horse heading into Saturday’s $150,000 Razorback Handicap (G3) with two impressive allowance wins over the track this meet. Gazebo Stakes Victory Makes Three On Day For Jockey Santana Jr.

No jockey has been hotter as of late than Ricardo Santana Jr., who has won six races, including $60,000 Gazebo Stakes with King Henny. The six victories, three Friday and three Saturday, moved Santana Jr. into first place in the jockey standings with 27 wins, three more than Robby Albarado, who had been the leader since opening day. Although his connections are from New York and currently based in South Florida, Always in Tiz will continue down the path toward the April 13 Arkansas Derby with a start in the $600,000 Rebel Stakes (G2) March 16. The colt will be making his third start in Hot Springs after finishing a troubled third in the Smarty Jones Jan. 21 and fifth in the sloppy Southwest Stakes (G3) Feb. 18. Read More

Sanders Brothers’ All About Allie continued her dominance over the Arkansas-bred fillies and mares with her third win in the $60,000 Downthedustyroad Breeders’ Stakes, a race named in honor of the only Arkansas-bred female to win a Grade 1 stakes.
