Oaklawn Stakes Winners Look to Secure a Trip to the Breeders’ Cup
Three major Oaklawn stakes winners are entered on Saturday’s 11-race card at Belmont Park, including Effinex and Hoppertunity in the $1 million Jockey Club Gold Cup (G1). The 1 ¼-mile Jockey Club Gold Cup is a Breeders’ Cup “Win and You’re In” event for the $6 million Classic (G1) Nov. 5 at Santa Anita.
