OAKLAWN TO OFFER TWO JOB FAIRS IN ADVANCE OF LIVE MEET
HOT SPRINGS, AR (Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2016) – Oaklawn expects to fill close to 500 positions between rehires and new team members by the time it opens for the live racing season on Friday, Jan. 13 and most of the new hiring will take place during two job fairs to be held Dec. 9 and 10.
The Maintenance and Housekeeping departments will be filling their positions Friday, while the Food & Beverage and Mutuel departments will be hiring their seasonal team members Saturday. Both job fairs will take place at Oaklawn’s Business Administration office on Golf Links Road from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. or until all jobs are filled.
“These job fairs are the best way we have found for filling all the positions needed during the live racing season when we nearly double our staff,” Director of Human Resources Kelli Mussa said. “This is always an exciting time of year when we get to discover some really good people and make them a part of the team.”
