Hot Springs, Ark. (Friday, Aug. 14, 2015) – Tickets for the Happy Together Tour, part of the popular Finish Line Theater series at Oaklawn, go on sale Monday, Aug. 17 for the Aug. 28 show. This great night of music brings together six of the most popular rock bands of the 60s and 70s: The Turtles featuring Flo & Eddie, The Association, Mark Lindsay, former lead singer of Paul Revere & the Raiders, The Grass Roots, The Buckinghams and The Cowsills.

The Turtles, led by vocalists Howard Kaylan and Mark Volman, better known as Flo and Eddie have remained popular with their fans decade after decade. The band became notable for several Top 40 hits beginning with their cover version of Bob Dylan's “It Ain't Me Babe” in 1965. They scored their biggest and best-known hit in 1967 with the song “Happy Together.” They formed the first “Happy Together” tour with other popular bands from the 60s and 70s in 1984.

Hailing from California, The Association topped the charts in the late 1960s with such songs as “Windy,” “Cherish” and “Along Comes Mary.” They first joined the Happy Together Tour in 1985 and returned the tour this year after a several year absence.

Mark Lindsay, former lead singer of Paul Revere & the Raiders, is making his second appearance at Oaklawn along with The Grass Roots and The Buckinghams. Lindsay will once again thrill the audience with such hits as “Kicks,” “Hungry” and “Indian Reservation.”

Tickets are $40 and $55 and can be purchased by calling (501) 623-4411 ext. 340 beginning at 9 a.m. Tickets can also be purchased in person at Oaklawn’s Reserved Seats office. The show begins at 7 p.m.
