Post Times.

Oaklawn races Thursday - Sunday along with two holiday Mondays and the second Wednesday in April with gates opening at 11 a.m.. There is a special 12:30 p.m. first post opening day (Jan. 13) and closing day (April 15). The regular post times are 1:30 p.m. weekdays and Sundays and 1 p.m. Saturdays, holiday Mondays and Super Bowl Sunday.

If you are looking to plan a trip for the live season, seating reservations can be made Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., beginning the Monday before Thanksgiving until Opening Day.  We are then open seven days a week, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Opening Day though Derby Day. Dining reservations may be made beginning Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2017.

Reserved seating is located throughout the Grandstand area and is available by the day or by the season. All reserved seating is now non-smoking throughout the grandstand area. Reserved grandstand seats are $2.50 each on weekdays and $4.50 each on Saturday and Sunday.  *Derby Day limit 8 seats.

If available, box seating goes on sale when the gates open and may be purchased at the Box Seats window on race days only. No advance reservations. To get an application for a season box please call (501) 623-4411. 

Join the Club!

To become a member of the Oaklawn Club, contact Club Manager Tina Breshears at 501-623-4411 ex. 241. She will mail you an application and once approved, you can start enjoying a one-of-a-kind racing experience. The cost is $794 per couple and the dress code is strictly enforced. No jeans allowed.

Let's Talk Food.

The Carousel Dining Room offers great views of the track in a casual, fun atmosphere. The Carousel features a stunning collection of authentic antique carousel horses and music boxes and television monitors are on each table to keep you up-to-date with all the latest racing information. Dress is casual. Buffet and menu service is available. Reservations recommended.

The Post Parade Restaurant, located on the first floor across from the Winning Colors Gift Shop, offers an array of television monitors, including big screen televisions. Menu items are available every day. Reservations are recommended for Saturdays.

Plan to Bring a Group?

Who says you have to hold a corporate meeting in a board room? Oaklawn is the perfect place to meet with business associates for a day of entertainment. Corporate, civic or fraternal groups of any size can use our facilities for morning business meetings, enjoy lunch, and then top off the day with a full afternoon of racing.

And who says your motor coach group has to go to the same old "eat-n-get-out" cafeteria? Your group can get one of the finest meals ever to cross their lips at Oaklawn.  Whether you choose the Chef's Buffet or a set luncheon menu in one of our great restaurants or just choose to nibble your way through our expansive racing facility stopping at dozens of outlets for delicious made to order items, you will be well fed at Oaklawn. Plus you get the thunderous action of the finest in thoroughbred horse racing.

Parking.

Parking is free on non-race days.

On Race days, park in our north, south and west lots for only $2 until 4pm then parking is free.  There are some private lots close but much pricier than $2 so be sure to get here early.  We have handicapped parking in our main lot that is south of the building adjacent to the main gaming entrance.  We also offer a round-the-clock shuttle service.  Currently there is no regular parking for RV’s. There are several nice campgrounds and RV parks in the area that may still have availability.
