Simulcasting and Gaming will resume on Saturday. Gates open at 10:00 a.m. Oaklawn Gaming will remain open until 4:00 a.m. on Sunday.
Oaklawn's popular Twin Quin game will be offered again on Thursday, November 12. Players will be competing for $100 plus all the day's entry fees.

Breeders' Cup Continues Saturday; Zenyatta, Summer Bird Matched in Classic

Featuring some of the stars of Oaklawn racing from the past two seasons, the 2009 Breeders' Cup begins its two day blitz on Friday afternoon at Santa Anita. Zenyatta, considered the only serious threat to Rachel Alexandra in Horse-of-the-Year balloting, will be the star of the featured Breeders' Cup Classic on the Saturday card.

The Resort Racing Network (KVRE, 92.9 FM) presents the final edition of the Oaklawn Handicappers' Hour, a one-hour interactive call-in show on Saturday. This week the show will at its normal time, 9:07-10:00 (CDT) on Saturday morning. The Oaklawn Handicappers Hour is also available here at the Oaklawn website. The Daily Racing Form Pigskins and Ponies Match Game, one of the most popular promotions ever at Oaklawn Simulcast, returns to Oaklawn on Sunday, November 8.
The Pigskins and Ponies Match Game allows patrons to win from $500 to $2,000, by requiring players to correctly solve matchups of horses running in specified races as well as matchups of NFL pro football games against the point spread.
