Official Rules
Eligibility
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO WIN. Weekly Fantasy Racing Challenge IS OPEN ONLY TO RESIDENTS OF THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA.
Employees of Oaklawn Jockey Club, Inc., Daily Racing Form, Aristotle
Internet Access, and CJRW, Inc., (and the immediate family members of
all such employees, and all others with whom they are domiciled) are
not eligible to win prizes. Weekly Fantasy Racing Challenge is subject
to all federal, state and local laws and regulations. Void where
prohibited.
How to Enter
To enter online, completely fill out the official entry section of
the Registration area. Entries are limited to a maximum of one entry
per week per person or e-mail address. Persons entering more than one
entry per week per person or valid e-mail address in a single weekly
competition will be disqualified from consideration for prizes. Neither
the Oaklawn Jockey Club, Inc., Daily Racing Form, or Aristotle Internet
Access will be responsible or liable for incomplete, illegible, or
misdirected e-mail or for failure to receive entries due to
transmission failures or technical failures of any kind, including,
without limitation, electronic malfunctioning of any network, hardware
or software. All entries become the property of Oaklawn Jockey Club,
Inc. and none will be returned. In the event of a dispute, all E-mail
entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the owner of the
E-mail account from which they were sent. Live season contest ends April 15, 2007.
How to Play
You will be given a list of both jockeys and trainers. There are
jockeys with a three-point value, jockeys with a two-point value and
jockeys with a one-point value. The same will be true with trainers.
That means that the final point total each gains during the week will
be multiplied by that number (either 3, 2 or 1) to come up with
your< final total for the week. To come up with you original score,
jockeys and trainers will receive five points for a win, three points
for a second and one for a third. That means that, when your
three-point jockey or trainer has won a race, it's worth a grand total
of fifteen points (five< for the win and multiplied times three for
a three-point jockey or trainer). You may select one three-point
jockey, one two-point jockey and two one-point jockeys to go along with
one three-point trainer, one two-point trainer and two one-point
trainers, to make up a complete team.
Odds
The odds of winning depend on the number of entries received during
the course of the competition and the number of valid entries submitted.
Winning and Notification
Winners of the weekly prize will be notified by regular surface mail
at the conclusion of each month's contest and the winners name will be
posted on the Fantasy Racing sign-in page. Contest winners are solely
